1. Who we are
VVM is developed by VGKZ. This policy describes the data that VVM processes when you play it. Contact: vgkzpenman@gmail.com.
2. Account sign-in through Epic Online Services
Multiplayer uses Epic Online Services (EOS) for sign-in, session discovery, and peer-to-peer traffic. On first launch, Epic's system browser page asks you to sign in with an Epic Games account and to approve the requested permissions. We request the basic profile only: display name, language, country, and linked account display names.
We do not receive your Epic Games password. EOS returns an account identifier and a display name. A refresh token stays on your machine so later launches do not ask again. Signing out of Epic Games removes that token.
3. Data the game stores on your machine
- Your settings, key bindings, and quality options.
- Loadout, progression, and cosmetic selections for your profile.
- Log files, which record session events and connection state for diagnosis.
- The EOS refresh token, described above.
You can delete this data by removing the game's Saved folder.
4. Multiplayer data
While you play online, the host's machine receives your display name, your in-game actions, and your connection address or EOS peer identity. Session metadata, including the room name, map, and player count, is published to Epic Online Services so other players can find the room.
5. Data we do not collect
VVM does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, contacts, location data, or payment data. The game does not read files outside its own installation and Saved folder.
6. Epic Games as a processor
Epic Games processes account, session, and peer traffic data on our behalf under the Epic Online Services terms. Epic Games also processes your Epic Games account data under its own privacy policy, at legal.epicgames.com.
7. Retention and deletion
Local data stays until you delete it. Session metadata expires on Epic Online Services when the session ends. To request deletion of any data tied to your account identifier, write to the contact address above.
8. Children
VVM is not directed at children under 13. Epic Games applies its own age requirements for Epic Games accounts.
9. Changes
We will update this page when the data we process changes, and the date at the top will change with it.
